They don't mess around. Once you make a charge it almost gets instanstly reported. Once you make a payment it's up to 60 days before the reported balance gets reduced.

That sounds very likely. Typical GEMB behavior.
That is one thing I do not like about Macys - instant reporting of increased balances. At least they promptly report again at the end of the cycle.

Happens to me all the time. I put a $38 charge on my Sams card and it shows up the next day and I'm still waiting for it to show 0 balance after paying it on July 7th. I want no revolving debt to report to see what happens with my TU score since I got my mortage refi and made 1 payment on it.
This gives my an idea for a General Question thread.

This never happens to me an i have 5 accounts with GE. Must be something new that's going on.
