GEMB/Sam's Club Discover Credit Limit from 6250 to 200!!!!!

I wouldn't close the card.  It is possible that they could give you a CLI in the future.  If they are playing chase the balance. let them play it and still continue to use and and PIF as soon as you can.

Back in my subprime days, my 300 CL sams card got me through some rough times.

I agree.  My Sam's card was my first credit card after going into debt management.  I took good care of it, mostly used it at Wally Mart for stuff I really needed.  It graduated to the Discover card one year later that is now over 7K CL.  All from my $400 Sam's club card.

GEMB moved lowes limit from $7200 to $400.  Why would I utilize their services in the future?  Pay them off and DONE!

Just checked my GEMB/Lowe's card and it is still intact... Whew

Sam's Club did the same thing to me after being with them for 2 years.  Went to use the card and my CL was decreased I closed the account and will never go back.
