Unfortunately the Web version of this site does not allow for the report button.

Very insensitive and also the thread itself should be moved to an off topic thread.

Re: GNC Manager demanded to see my ID in order to make a purchase today with my VISA.

Im going to chime in here for a second, because yesterday something similar happened to me at Kohls. I was buying my daughter a pair of shoes swiped the card when the cashier asked me to, then she requested to see my ID. I usually don't have a problem with showing my ID, but I have to say it stopped me in tracks for a bit, because it was the tone in her voice. I went ahead and showed her the ID, but while I was doing it I was thinking this might be a racial thing (Im black as well). So I called my husband and he told me that not to worry, that Kohls always ID, no matter what. With that said I don't think the OP is imagining this, I think its how the manager came across to him. I can almost bet the manager came across accusatory towards the OP, thats why the OP feels the way he does. So I agree if this bothers the OP so much, then he needs to report this to GNC corporate and also to Visa. Just my 2 cents.
