Checking in with 14 months clean. I'm 5/25 now and will be 4/24 in less than a month. This long garden sting has made a big difference in my scores.  :]   Best of luck all GC'ers!

DW is at 4/24 right now.  (If NFCU ever shows up...)  Not really sure that it matters to her...she may or may not be sneaking out of the garden next month, but Chase isn't really on her radar.  Might pick up a Freedom Unlimited for the SUB, but no real need for anything Chase right now.

lol, I don't need any Chase now either. I guess I'll wait for any 100k M or UR bonus and use it then. I may have messed up and lost my Gold status this year. I haven't tracked my spend on RC and was laid up do to a couple injuries. If so I'll close it and reopen when the bonus is higher as it's over 2 years old. Not traveling till mid summer so I have a few months. But Ritz doesn't fall in 5/24 so there's that Smiley Frustrated

Re: Garden Club - February 2018

Good morning!
My big boss informed me via email that i'll be spending three days next week at Hanford. I'm starting to think he hates me.
On a positive side, I may glow in the dark and get a second job as a party prop.
I'm hoping not to cause all the beautiful garden plants to mutate into Venus fly traps.

Re: Garden Club - February 2018

Good Morning MFer's, well got an email from Citi, my Advantage Platinum AF is due, went on the "other site" to see retention offers, and since October of last year not much, a few mentioned they were able to PC to DC, I have one and don't need another one. So called this morning and no offers, no "let me get you to a specialist" bupkus...LOL I really WANTED to close it anyway, I always keep it because for five years they have always offered to wave the AF...not this year, guessing CostCo is doing well for them?  LOL I am glad to have another card gone....I have the AA executive and the Silver Aviator and the Aviator is kind of a mirror of the Platinum anyway.....Well have a great week and DON'T APP or your cat will shred your favorite pair of Jeans!!

I'll be blasphemous and confess I can't tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi so either is fine by me.

My sister cannot believe that I can't tell the difference between N'Sync and Backstreet Boys still either. They sound the same to me and not a fan of either. Smiley Very Happy

I agree it's nuanced.  I usually prefer Coke; that's actually what I usually buy unless there's just a fantastic sale on Pepsi.

That said, I have memories as a kid of having a slice of sausage pan pizza at Pizza Hut, and they always served Pepsi so sometimes when I want to be nostalgic I'll have Pepsi with my Papa John's... LOL.  Smiley Very Happy

To me, Pepsi has a more 'spicy' taste than Coke (I can't think of a better word), and since I drink Coke so often I can quickly and easily tell the difference.  Smiley Embarassed

Thank you for the description. I will be on the look out for it next time to see if I can taste the difference. Smiley Happy

LOL NONE of the BEST people do!!!  Let the flaming begin! I am an equal opportunity offender, so JUST because you don't have a cat is NO REASON to "straddle the garden fence" (oh such VISIONS on that!!!) Smiley Very Happy The "cat" is a metaphor.......LMAO, any excuse....
