Re: Garden Club Meeting - December 2011

I'm pretty simple when it comes to cards and this is what I am happy with and plan to stay with for a LONG time:

NFCU $15K CL

WF $13.5K CL

AMEX Delta Gold $6K

Early in 2012 I plan on asking for an increase of AMEX to $15K and then it will be all auto CLI's or none at all!

Starting Score: TU 672 EQ 654 10/20/09
Current Score: TU 775 EQ 783 EX 799 (PLUS)
AMEX Delta Platinum $35K, NFCU Visa Signature $30K, HHonors Reserve Visa $35K, WF $13.5K, IHG Rewards Club MC $25K

Re: Garden Club Meeting - December 2011

SIGN ME UP !!!  I soooo fell off the wagon in November , but accomplished most of what I set out to do. I did  land  the cards that I was after (with the exception of Amex BCE).. so I am serious about not punching any buttons until spring/summer of 2012....

Re: Garden Club Meeting - December 2011

I'm in the garden for December!!!!  Definitely will not stray since I have the cards I want for now (at least the ones I was approved for lol)

Received a CLI on my US Bank platinum card today from $3100 to $4100, soft pull.

I plan on requesting a CLI on my America First CU visa in April but I know it will be a hard pull.  I'll have to look at my EX inquiries again to see how many will be on there come April.

I hope all of you stay strong and focused (and help me stay focused as well).

Re: Garden Club Meeting - December 2011

After falling off the gardening wagon, I'm determined to stay in garden mode for the next 12 months.

So far, I have added:

- Apple Barclays

- USAA Amex

- USAA MC

- AMEX BCE

I am so tempted to get the chase freedom but don't want to risk another inq and possible denial. Penfed's denial was enough for me.

So im going to build myself a nice hammock inthe garden and enjoy a nice cup of pumpkin latte Smiley Happy

Re: Garden Club Meeting - December 2011

I am in the garden until a nice FICO score is cultivated some time next year.  I am working with 3 young sprouts, a Mastercard from Capital One, an American Express from USAA Bank, and a VISA from US Bank.

According to the Credit Monitoring Service I am subscribed to through USAA Bank, my AAoA is currently at 15.4 years. Utilization is at 2%. Inquiries are 9 on Experian, 6 on Equifax and 8 on Transunion, I recognize and know what 3 of those inquiries are from (the aforementioned CCs) however, the other inquiries appear to be from collection agencies pulling the report for their evil intentions.  There are no more baddies on the report (thank you myFICO for instructing me in the ways of PFD, GW and, most especially, writing to my State's Attorney General<---they get the job done!)

Interestingly, although I have no FICO score, Citibank and Discover have been sending their invitations to app quite frequently.  Could it be they think my silly PLUS Scores in the mid 700s show some merit?

I see that I am in good company here in the garden.  Many of you have had amazingly good reports of approval success -- I rejoice with each one of you!  While I continue on with gardening and, learning the ways of all things credit -- I want to pass around some of my cyber Holiday fudge, they say if you pass it around through the internet it loses ALL the calories but none of the flavor.  Its made from an old family recipe (the secret's in the sauce--(wink!)

Happy Holidays Garden Friends!  With Best Wishes for a Wonderful 2012!!!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - December 2011

Never been in the garden before but after simplifying down to 12 cards, went on an application binge and increased the count right back to where I started.  My goal is to not apply for (1) year.  Hopefully this time next year I'll be shopping for a second home.

Re: Garden Club Meeting - December 2011

I have been in the garden since Oct 2nd, I apped for the AmEx BCP, instant approval. This is my third AmEx all backdated to 91 Smiley Happy

I have no desire to app for anything, I have everything I need and more.

I just reached 802 FICO with EQ and I am 5 points away from 800 with TU and 10 away with EX, so no more apps, hard inqs or new accts, I want 800's across all three, hopefully in a few months I will achieve this.

I have just over 50K in total revolving credit and I am at 1% util, with only one CC reporting a very small balance.

Not bad considering this time last year I had a whopping 2,150 total revolving credit Smiley Very Happy I now have that much on my PayPal Smart Connect card alone LOL.

Thank you tinuviel for the Garden Club meetings every month, I'm glad to be here with you all.

Oh BTW, I made myself a Rum and Coke on my way in, I hope no one minds Smiley Very Happy

Happy Holidays to all my, MyFico Friends!!
