Re: Garden Club Meeting -December 2013

First time posting here!

I've said it before but seriously THANK YOU everyone for posting questions and those of you kind enough to share your knowledge. In a month I've gone from completely clueless to knowing what I need to do to get my credit where it needs to be.

My current active revolving accounts are

  • CapOne Secured $250 - HP from original unsecured app
  • Fingerhut $350 - HP
  • Credit One - Not sure if HP yet, app still in process. (I forgot to check the box that allows them to pull info)
  • Ann Taylor store card $250 - SP
  • OSP store card $250 - SP
  • Love Loft store card - SP, app in process

My goals for 2014 will be to pay off my baddies and try to PFD one of them. I also want to grow these limits, so when the store cards hit 9 months I will ask for a CLI on them. I also want to PC my CapOne card to the Journey Student card, and maybe apply for a Barclay card in late spring/summer.

My MAIN goal is to get the card I really want in Dec of next year. I have a lot of work ahead of me, but for now I will garden!

I'm still in!

Just sitting here hoping I can get into the 730-740 range by the end of the year once I have a few cards report a $0 balance - my original goal was to attain 750 scores, but that's not likely to happen.  On a positive note, I have two more inquiries that will be dropping off of Experian by the end of this month, so I should have around 5 remaining that will be gone in 2014. Smiley Happy

Good to see you, again.  Keep up the good work.

Entering the garden community and hoping to stay there for a long time. I really do not desire any new cards....I'm going to stay in the garden until my last baddies fall off which is sometime in mid 2015. Then I'm going to get a loan to finish our basement.

Welcome to the GC Family.

This is a great place for encouragement in setting and reaching goals.

Re: Garden Club Meeting -December 2013

Evening Gardeners,

Checking in for December, 4 months and 12 days into my gardening (but who is counting). No problems, managed to post a zero balance for November, no CLI yet, but ever hopeful - if not its only the 20th of January until I can make my escape Smiley LOL. Score on my EX report is 734, so pretty happy with that as an approximate measure.

Stay strong y'all.
