Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2012

Eh.  I WAS interested in the Chase Freedom, but with all of the posters complaining about 17.9 percent apr, it wouldn't do me any good anyway.

STILL sitting in the garden...no apps since December something...trying to wait for 01 November to apply for a BT card......

Paid down all balances and now I'm just waiting for them to report so I can see the results.  Just sitting in the Garden smelling all the flowers!

Bottom line, and I guess a FICO101 rule, if you don't need it then don't seek it. That's what I am going to live by for right now and see what happens.

That's my reasoning as well.

Have had some people telling me to app for a Zync, but I'm just not feeling it. I have 3, don't need anymore for now. Maybe by the end of the year. But for now, it's almost spring time. Garden, garden, garden.

I will be honest with you frugal, I get up here and start reading and I get pumped.  Sometimes reading the posts make you want to app just to see if you will get the card.  I started really thinking about it and evaluating everything. I just thought to myself, there is just no need.  If/when I can justify having a higher limit or applying for something I will.  But for my personal finances right now it's pointless.

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2012

Good Job LS !

I have been gardening to try and qualify for my Credit Union Visa - my utilization was at 71% and should report under 9% any day now. But my scores are currently low 600's.  I asked the CSR what are the score requirements and they said they could not share their underwriters requirements. She asked what I felt mine were and I told her what I'm hoping they'll be soon - she said I can call her when I'm ready to apply and do it over the phone if I wanted to take down her number. But I was driving and told her I'd just try online next week. Guess I was hoping she'd say something like..you should be fine but she just didnt sound enthusiastic. Smiley Sad

Left me feeling blue -as if I dont qualify.  Oh well, I'll still give it a shot and see what comes.

just sharing

gardening truly equals patience, but feels like detention!  Just teasing...I know, "Good things come to those that wait".

Oldest account (10 years) dropped off EQ today. Probably going to kill my FICO score.
