MJ: I agree about Disney brainwashing kids to be obsessed with Frozen, because my kid is one of them. LOL! The kitten she wants is $600..
Everybody has their preferences, but I would adopt instead maybe take her to the local animal shelter and let her take a look at all the kitties. She may even like a really friendly adult cat! Adoption fees and such are relatively low, and they'll spay/neuter, update them on shots, and microchip them for you as well!
The first cat I ever had was bought from a breeder. Not a special breed or anything, she was simply a cute little calico domestic shorthair kitten. After her, we adopted a rescue. And then we started taking in the outside stray cats and kittens...and well, you get the point One from a shelter or rescue can be just as lovable and adorable as one from a breeder!
