@Kysmet10

Welcome to the garden! Sounds like you have a plan - good luck on getting that pre-approval!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - May 2013

Wow, this is a popular club! Not even noon here and 10 pages already.

I'm still a-gardening. I was originally aiming for summer, but things seem to be taking longer to update than I'd anticipated. I may move my app date back a bit. I have a bunch of inquiries dropping June/July/August 2013, so maybe it make sense to wait.

In other news: amazing how the "garden" approach bleeds over into general financial management. I'm much more cautious now. Example: my lease was up, and in thinking it over I decided it was too soon to get wound up about a mortgage. I'd lose my savings almost entirely, so why not wait a bit longer and see what the market does? I did look at my renting options, but ultimately chose to be fairly conservative. We're not staying where we are (tiny too-small apartment) but we are moving into a slightly bigger & nicer one that's not all that much more expensive ($23 increased rent). It's a little bit of a treat but not a huge splurge, I'll put it that way.

Happy gardening, fellow clubbers!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - May 2013

No kidding...it's 1.42 pm here in Kansas City, and the garden club is on page 12...wow!

One more of DW's FACO's updated overnight...it's up as well...  She should get a nice bump on her Wallymart TU08 when it updates...and we're paying down various balances this month in hopes of another score bump for her on the first of June.

We're still both in the garden...I'm here until August, she's here for 30 more days...

Re: Garden Club Meeting - May 2013

Still gardening here, and it's beginning to pay off a little. May 1st scores just came in.

TransUnion.com - 724

CreditKarma - 671

CreditSesame - 685

myFICO: I DUNNO LOL (my account is linked to an old inactive debit card. Gotta get that changed)

For someone who started this credit game with sub-400 scores, I gotta say... Feels great man. Unfortunately, I'm expecting a dip when my Chase Freedom finally gets reported at the end of the month. Ah well.

I Have Way Too Many of These.

American Express - No CLI or Appreciation Gift in 7 Years

Citibank - Handing Out Credit Limits Like Candy

Chase - Surprisingly, Still Tolerating My Credit-Chasing Ways

Bank of America - My Newest Bae.

Everyone Else.
