Re: Garden Club Thread - December 2016

Jumping in. Still wanting to consolidate. Waiting for final cash out on AARP, then close. Waiting for cap one uber special to go away, then close. Pay off DP, wait a few, then combine into Double cash. Got a bit upset with amex today, cash back is missing. Can't totally complain, annual fee only 75. Need to make use of this card, or it goes bye bye. Will see, and unsure what to do with Alaska card, oldest active account, just not really useful. Smiley Sad

Re: Garden Club Thread - December 2016

Oh praise be the garden!  I'm switching phone companies and was dreading giving up my spade.  I read the rules and I'm OK to take the HP for switching to Tmobile.  Isn't is funny that I was worried about such a thing?  Thanks to everyone in this forum for being a good influence that I care about my credit so much.

I'm trying to stay in the garden until at least 4/15/17 which would make one year.  Late August 2017 has all inquiries except one on each report falling off... That's a long way off I suppose, best to take it one day at a time.

Just checking in for December.

Still in track, still unsure when to leave. Maybe when I'm 5/24 eligible in July?

Re: Garden Club Thread - December 2016

Good morning everyone!Smiley Happy

I'm checking in for December. I hope everyone is keeping your credit goals at the forefront of your mind. The credit card offers can get pretty tempting this time of year. Just say no!

Update:

  1. Garden - been here since 09/28/16
  2. Increase CL on a couple of cards - increased IT CL by $1500
  3. Combine Cap 1 accounts - still unable to combine
  4. Reduce utilization - Weekly payments: I chose the Snowball Method since my debt is @ 0% interest.

Stay positive & focused so we can meet our goals!!Smiley Happy

so everyone is telling me about all this great smoked bbq, interesting cocktails and stories to be found here - is this true or bs, just give it to me straight.  I have to be here for a year.  not normally what one would call a team player but I need the support so here I am.  my scores are so trashed that I cannot even update my sig.  really bad.  lease return and car loan in oct, csr 11/8, the only thing that went ok that day.  loan has not hit ex yet and csr has not reported.  waiting for the other shoe to drop, it might get ugly or more ugly if that is even possible.  I like margs, mojito's and a good manhattan.  bourbon is my goto.  I like traditional rioja, burgs and barolo.  I make a killer cheese soufflé if that counts for anything.  happy to be here

Welcome to the garden!
