Getting maximum use out of decline letters

Remember to save those decline letters and use them to pull free reports. With those, you can pull your reports over a certain time period. So, let's say you got two declines recently from a CCC that pulled EX, for example, you could pull your free EX report twice without having to wait a full year as you normally would when you pull from annualcrediteport.com. Hope that makes sense.

 We interrupt this program to bring you the following message...

Hello All!

We truly appreciate all contributions to the FICO Forums community that discuss legal and ethical ways to improve one's personal financial situation!

Please keep in mind, however, that we do not allow discussions that advocate illegal or unethical practices. Other communities may, but we don't. And those of us who want to keep this community going strong intend to keep it that way.

Our Terms of Service state that the FICO Forums community does not allow: Discussion of illegal or unethical activities or providing links to other websites containing such information;

Please understand that any member violating this or any other of our Terms of Service is subject to removal from the community. Please don't let this be you!

If you have any question as to whether a topic you want to discuss falls within our guidelines, please feel free to send a private message to one of our volunteer mods or me.

Thanks for your cooperation!

-Barry

ETA:  The above message implies that the original post was inappropriate, but that's not the case.  The inappropriate comments appeared in some of the replies that were removed from this thread.  My apologies, ficofox.  You did nothing wrong.  Thanks for contributing to the Forums!
