Target you have been shreded. Low limit & long lines at check out. SEE ya!
I've been stuck on the low $200 limit for months... I pay more than minimum (I don't pay in full though), But I'll keep using it and paying it little by little in hopes of it some day growing into a visa.. Which I was reading about in a thread from back in 2007 =P!
It's the worst card there is IMO. I had the $200 limit as well. I just paid off the balance for the last time, and I never plan on using it again. Not only does it not grow, but I noticed that if you pay your bill well before the due date, they hold the funds until the date the statement cuts. All in all, a very poor product for such a major store.
TDBank is taking over the Target cards. I just recieved an auto CLI to $900 and I never used the card.

Shredder, happy, happy!!
Don't shred it yet!!! Target was looking on a buyer for thier Red card product, they finally sold it to TDbank, so I think it was 1-2 months ago not much more that TDbank is the new owner of the product, they not Target will be doing the credit descision, Target will keep servicing the card but will have no say on CLI, approvals etc. So you might as well wait to see what these new guys got to say. They where planning on selling the product so maybe that's why they didn't wanna do CLI, now things have changed.
Also Target discountinued thier VISA product many moons ago, so that 2007 threat is outdated, maybe TDbank got plans on getting it back, but I don't know, maybe do a google search or call customer service they might know something.
Already a done deal. I don't have time for games. My credit has improved to the point that cards have to compete for my business.
