Got another “Activate Pay Over Time” offer

Early 2020, I got an offer for a ridiculous amount of MR, 40k if I remember correctly, to add Pay Over Time to my Green card. Just activate it, no other conditions. So yeah, took that.

Got another mailer today, this time for 20k MR for activating Pay Over Time on my Platinum. This is too easy.

Re: Got another “Activate Pay Over Time” offer

Free 40k on the Green is insane!!  I was giddy over the 20k for my Gold.

Re: Got another “Activate Pay Over Time” offer

"This promotion is either invalid or no longer available."

The promotion was via snail mail. In the last few weeks I did a Check Spend Power for $10,000 on my Gold card, then charged $9k for auto repairs. That went into a $0 fee Plan It plan. Then I did a Check Spending Power for $3,000 on my Platinum card, and charged $2,600 for more auto repairs.

I'm guessing that use of credit made them second-think the POT offer. "Well, if he's using the card for large charges, more likely to come to us looking to pay 19%, so why give an offer?"

So no joy here Smiley Happy
