I love the card and am very happy to get it, but...
My online approval message said I could ask about higher limit when I call to confirm receipt of the card. When I called, she told me it would have to be another hard!
I regularly run more than 5k per month through my Freedom, and only received 8k limit on the CSP.
I used the 8009251794 number, not the number on the back of the card. Would the number on the back of the card be helpful here? Or perhaps the Chase recon number for Illinois?
I hate the idea of running 75% util on this card and would prefer to use the auto pif option instead of having to manually do payments before statement cuts every month.
I called the executive offices and spoke to a very nice lady. She agreed to use my application pull and will call me back in 7-10.
I asked to double the limit because I want to make it my primary card and often have to pif multiple times on my Freedom.
I had the same problem last night. I got the card and called immediately after I activated it to see about a CLI. They had given me a 5k limit, but I hope to put almost all my money through the CSP for a while. Everyone I talked to said it would be a HP (1-888-245-0625) so I finally just emailed the CEO. Hope to hear something back soon.
Good luck and let me know how it goes for you! Maybe we will both get lucky on this one.
I hate having to pif mulitple times due to low cl...and dont appreciate the score changes because my balance increased month to month either.

Do let us know how it guys with Chase EO. I am definitely interested in the outcome.
if they dont give you a cli, and you're planning to move most of your spend to CSP (that wouldve otherwise been on Freedom), you could move some of your credit from the Freedom to CSP.

Good luck if you recon!
