I know Wal-Mart and target can not be considered for grocery but was wondering if the Walmart neighborhood markets are considered for grocery since they only sell them?
The card in particular is AMEX BCE 6% cashback
Last thing I heard the neighborhood markets coded grocery for AMEX but hopefully someone can give you recent DPs.
I think it's MC that sometimes includes those locations in "grocery". At least, I heard about some people getting 5% with Sallie Mae.
*Keep in mind that the Amex bonus category of "supermarket" is more narrow than "grocery". I've had liquor store purchases code as "grocery" but not get the extra points on EDP.
I have the HH and it is!

This is unfortunately not a guarantee. One store a mile to west codes Grocery. While the one 2 miles to east does not. Using my BCP.

Guess it's YMMV.
Though no BCE will give 6% back.
(Obviously "BCP" is intended.)

And in the end even the "BCP" doe not get close to 6%
"Sorry": One of my pet peeves about false advertising !

Technically, for example, when you spend $100 at a grocery store on the BCP, you do get 6% of that in rewards, so it's not really false advertising per se IMO. They do pay out the 6% as advertised.
What they don't tell you (and what most consumers won't care to do the math on) is that because you have to pay $95 a year and you don't get any perks beyond the cash back, your AF basically negates some of the cash back. It's different in situations where higher AF cards give you more perks, lounge access, whatever, that people can value as they choose. With BCE/BCP it is literally just the increased rewards, so the AF does really matter in the math. So while not false advertising IMO, it's banking on the (correct) assumption that most people aren't going to do the math and will just pay the $95.
Back on subject, anything Walmart related is going to be YMMV with Amex even if you're in a location where it is entirely a grocery store (Neighborhood Market). I've heard mixed reports. You may get the bonus rewards but I wouldn't 100% count on it.
