HELP! BCP to BCE

I applied for and was approved for the BCP on 8/24. After researching the forums I have decided that as a single woman with no children the BCE might be a more suitable product for me...

Who has converted? Details please?! Will my limit stay the same?

Hate to break it to you, you have to wait to 13 months. You're probably better off applying for a BCE.

You also get 3% on gas with BCP.

The other way small spenders can make the BCP worthwhile is to buy retail gift cards (restaurants, gas etc) at your supermarket along with groceries.  This gives 6% off other types of purchases.

You do not need to wait 13 months to downgrade to Blue Cash Everyday; that law only applies to upgrades due to the increased annual membership fee. If you would like to downgrade, call Card Services and they will process that request for you.

And yes, your limit and APR will remain the same. You may wish to fulfill your welcome offer before downgrading as you will risk forgetting it.

+1 to the gift cards when you are doing your grocery shopping.

The Sallie Mae MasterCard (no longer available) is the only other grocery rewards card that can even come close to BCP/BEP.  Amex Offers, which update all the time, are another way to get even more out of the card.

Call em up, see if they will wave the fee, explain your situation. Worst that could happen is they say no.
