Lol, you get search for your answer. Yes people have applied and been approved for these cards. From what ive read the app process is a bit slow. I really like the looks of their cards but since i cant apply for their cards i left it alone. . My recomendation is if one of their cards interest you , apping might not be a bad idea. If i recall i think they use Experian? Or maybe TransUnion.

HSBC is a EQ puller. They will SP EX as well. Very rarely do they use TU.

I app last month 10/2018, they pulled Equifax, score was 665 at the time I app, one collection, 13 inquiries, about 5 new CC and got approved SL $3,750.00

OP, in addition to any links or information you might come across, just be aware that HSBC is not known for huge SLs, that is unless you have a pretty exceptional profile.
