I have the card.  It's not worth app'ing for.  I had the card since 9/09.  They started me with a measly $750.  And now HSBC isn't granting any CLI's upon request.  This is one card I don't if it close.  I'll still have 10 other cards to use.

Not if the credit line isn't sufficient enough to get a lot of utilization on it.

I have this card and like it.  I applied for it online about 9 months ago and received an instant approval with a $5,900 CL. and interest rate of 18%.  I originally thought the interest rate was high, but now don't think so as much given the rate in which APRs have gone up with CCs.  I use the card to auto-pay my cellular bill and then PIF before the statement cuts. Ive never asked for a CLI so can't attest to that.  It does give cash credit towards the purchase of any GM product.
