HSBC Products

How long do you have to wait in between apps for HSBC? I applied and got an Orchard card about two years ago and received a BB card last December.

Re: HSBC Products

Store branded cards like Saks, Neiman Marcus, and Best Buy Store Card do not require time between apps.

But Household Bank MC and Orchard and Best Buy MC I believe need 30 days between apps. Possibly might even be 60 days.

Re: HSBC Products

With your scores I wouldn't.  You could get such a better limit elsewhere.  Just my opinion Smiley Happy

Re: HSBC Products

Also, I thought I heard it's about an 18 month period in between MC's?

Not true.  I had an HSBC 2% opened in October '09, then got a BBRZ Mastercard in July of '10, and most recently the Best Buy Store Card this month.

Have you ever burned Barclays in the past?  They offer reasonable limits and cards to people with mid to high 600's.  I have a 690 and just got the Travelocity Amex with a $4,500 limit.  That would be an impossible limit for HSBC with those scores.

Re: HSBC Products

Never apped for Barclays. That's interesting. Do you know who they pull?

My scores are bit a lower for a few newer accounts the past 6 months.

I agree, Barclays, Macy's Amex, Capital one would be my choices before a 3rd HSBC product. or Sams Discover.  it's not 100% that you would get the Macy's Amex or the Sams Discover but probably a decent chance.
