I believe I read that Capital one wiill automatically increase CL after 6 months of on time paynements. Will this cause another credit pull?
Good to know! Thanks!
Don't worry, you'll never receive a hard pull unless you give your approval specific to each and every instance of doing so. Your initial application was good for only one check per bureau. An exception would be soft pulls, which only requires your initial approval. After that, your credit report can be an open book to SP's for that lender.
Otherwise, take whomever pulls your report to court over a FCRA violation, as your permission is required to access your credit report.

Not an HP on most of their cards.
GM Buypower and a few others need not apply.

Cap One gets their fair share of HPs in the first stage when they do 3 HPs
From then on, it's all SP. Whether they give you automatically or you ask for it. Whether accepted request or rejected. And regardless of the number of requests.
