Has anyone ever had a Citi Secured Card graduate?

I've looked throughout the forum and online, can't seem to find anything. Does anyone have any experience at all? I'm baffled -- I see posts on almost every other secured card.

Thanks in advance!

What I use (& strongly recommend): Chase Sapphire Reserve | BofA/ML (Premium Rewards VS, Cash Rewards VS, Merrill+ VS) | AmEx (Amazon Prime Business)

What I have: NFCU | PenFed | General Electric CU | Wright Patt CU | Discover | BBVA | Apple Card (GS)

Total CL with Bank of America = $100,000 (Platinum Honors Merrill Client). I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, so feel free to message me if you have any planning/credit questions.

I started with scores in the 400s in 2016. This forum is a Godsend--focus on the journey, be patient, and you'll definitely get there no matter the circumstances!

Yes do a search for pizza1. She has massive success with choosing the secured card with a bankruptcy and other stuff going on including app sprees. I kind of regret not going for the same account back when I was rebuilding with my charge offs from home depot and sears citibank.

Their secured does, but I believe goes the full term. Citi doesn't seem to graduate early

Hey OP...With the Citi secured card, you can't add to the limit once its set at opening, at least thats what I was told by EO. So, no CLI.

The card has a full term of 18mo, and does NOT graduate any sooner before then. About a month before graduation, they will HP your reports most likely EQ, for graduation, and you'll get a letter about it in the mail.

I ended up closing mine out at 12 mo because the only card I really wanted from them was the Costco cc, and If I just gardened for an extended period of time, Id get it, LOL. I only got the secured card as a better "in" with Citi with a legacy cc. Not as important to me now Smiley Happy

Good luck to you! and Ill respond to your PM as well
