In May my TU score through here was 680 - in August it went down to 655 - and today TU FICO quarterly through this site updated 650.
In May my TU score through Wal-mart was 651 - in August was 674 - in Sept. it was 692 - in October it went down to 685.
So right there you can see a 35 point difference between the two models.
My October EQ FICO via SW is 659.
I THOUGHT I was SO close to 700, then now I'm RIGHT back where I pretty much started in Februargy with all the collections, and 30-days. Now those have all been removed, my score is going down....
How many apps since May? How many new tradelines? Where is your utilization at? What's your AAoA look like?
There are many factors that go into your FICO scores...they never just drop for no reason.

you're right. My scores were at their highest when I had collections, 30-days, more INQ, lower AAoA, and newer TL's.
Now that that stuff has fallen-off, my scores have gone down.
7% util, 5 INQ, and AAoA UP to 2.5 years.
I dropped 20pts for no reason last month. Before I even added new tradelines. I feel I too may have been rebucketed.
What got deleted?
Perhaps your mix of credit is not as good after the deletions.
Also, when did you last pull reports for these CRAs? Is it possible new collections have appeared that you're not aware of yet?
Ultimately, what are you looking for from this thread? Sympathy, or understanding of why your score dropped?
If you're seeking sympathy, you've got it. Believe me, I know how much it sucks when you experience a setback after a lot of hard work to repair and rebuild your credit. Hang in there, it's a long-haul process and the short-term setbacks cannot prevent good credit habits from winning out in the end!
If you're seeking understanding, we need more information than you're giving. Give us the whole picture. I've never in my life had a score drop that I couldn't find an explanation for after considering the contents of my credit files.

Merely doing my best to help (and to understand what you would consider helpful), but as you wish. One does wonder at the point of creating a thread if you have little vested interest in it. Best of luck to you!

thanks for your input, but ill take it from here.
don't understand the tone here. hes right that there usually is some fairly obvious cause when dealing with big score changes.
forgive my ignorance, but what is rebucketing?
