Never hurts to try. But i suggest a 1.66 offer as 1.99 is so 1999

That sounds like something that Fifth Third should offer.
Not sure if I'm posting in the right place, but has anyone received an NFCU BT offer so far? Usually get an email around the first of the new year, but nada so far (last year it was on Jan. 4). I hope COVID isn't going to stop the offer this year.
Your post will likely soon be merged (by a mod) with the thread started this morning:
So far, bt offers appear to be targeted. There's conflicting info from CSRs, but a possibility member-wide 1.99% bts will be offered in Feb.
Kind of disappointing that the offer isn't for everyone. I would bet that the rep saying that everyone will get 1.99% in February is in fact incorrect as reps so often are. I guess NFCU is concerned about being left holding the bag on a bunch of Chapter 7s.

Sucks but you can't blame them really when looking from their perspective.

No I actually respect them for looking at the numbers and the state of the economy and making that decision. It worries me that CUs like DCU are still doing them for every cardholder despite what has transpired this last year.
No offer from Navy on either card. Didn't need anyways. Took advantage of DCU offer. Just to see if they will show love in 2021.
The state of everything, not surprised by targeted offer. Glad I tightened spending last year.

Ditto....I haven't seen anything yet. We'll keep watching...My FS will hit 91 days later this month so perhaps a reason I haven't seen it yet...they mysteriously know I'm doing the countdown to later this month to hit them up for MORE!
January 2020, I bt 20K at 0% to nfcu and have not paid a penny in interest or fees. I was hoping to be offered at least 1.99% this year so they can make some money off me.
it will be unfortunate (for nfcu?) if they to do not offer a promo this year. I have 8K left with nfcu, but offers from bofa (0%/Apr 2022) and citi (0.99%/May 2022) who will instead be making some money (3% fee ea) off of me instead.
its almost like bofa/citi know my promo with nfcu is going to end.
