Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I'm fairly new here, and I have NO CREDIT whatsoever. I'm looking to boost my score, and get into good credit habits. What are some tips I can use to go from having NO credit, to having amazing credit?

Well..
By no credit...What exactly do you mean? Are you 18 and just starting out?
Yes, that's exactly what I meant!

Are you a student?
I'd suggest a CapOne Journey as a starter card.
Welcome to the boards! You've taken a good proactive step by joining this community to get information.
It's hard to get credit when you don't credit, but there's a few ways. If you're doing this on your own, I'd recommend getting a secured card. SDFCU is frequently recommended here, since you can get a secured card with no HPs on your credit. Use that for at least 6 months to generate a score. Overall, make payments on-time and don't let high balances post on your CC.

Good idea. Cap One will often extend cards to people just starting their credit history.
I'll do that! My friend also mentioned I should maybe open a few other accounts to show other crediters I can juggle multiple lines of credit. Is this also true?

Start with one card to see how you handle credit. Don't apply for junk cards you'll never use just to have "multiple" lines of credit.

You'd be in a better position to do this once you gain more credit history. Having two or three CCs would be good for your profile, certainly, but even one CC can help you start meeting your goals.
If I do get approved for a CC, when is the right time to use it? How should I use it?
