Help Me Select a Citi Card......

I'd like to add a new mastercard (too many Visa's) and a card issued by Citi to my collection. I'm chose Citi because of price rewind and private pass programs. I combed the Citi site but was not really impressed with their cards and associated rewards programs. I want a card with EMV (all Citi card now have it) , no annual fee and a balance transfer promotion. I think all no annual fee cards charge a transaction fee (BOO!!). Thanks in advance. Smiley Happy

Re: Help Me Select a Citi Card......

I think you'll have a hard time finding a card that meets your criteria. EMV chips are typically offered on mid-high end travel cards, almost always with an AF. BT cards are typically no or low-rewards cards, the exact opposite of travel cards which are high rewards/high APR. BT cards can offer a lower APR because they typically don't have any rewards to pay out, so in essence you're asking for two opposite things. The only no AF + EMV card I can think of is the BofA Travel Privileges, but even then that's only offered as a visa.

Re: Help Me Select a Citi Card......

The regular boa travel has emv too. Privileges has an AF.

Thank you preferred has emv, no AF and 12 months 0% on purchases and bt.
Same thing with the regular citi thank you card.

Re: Help Me Select a Citi Card......

I'm not sure if you can still get it, but there's the Dividend World Elite with EMV and no AF. They send me periodic 0% APR BT promotions, but they probably include a 3% BT fee (I never read the fine print).
