I did carefully consider this card. I only have 3, so I'm not a free for all kind of app-er. However, one of the main reasons I wanted the card is no longer a factor because on of my existing cards just recently added the free FICO score perk.

There have been a few cases of people successfully getting things removed (or rather, never to appear) from the CR, but this is rare and very much YMMV.  And usually the issuer would want a better reason than just realizing you don't need it.
