Help applying for Amex Costco

I'm trying to figure out the best way to apply for the Amex Costco card if I don't currently have a Costco membership. Can I apply for membership and the card on the same day? Best to do in store or online?

Conventional wisdom is that it is easier and faster to get approved in store.  However, as usual, YMMV

Amex will keep your status as pending if you do not have a Costco membership. IMO, do it in the warehouse- with your new membership.

Does Costco Amex get you in with Amex or does it not really count as a real Amex ?

The Costco True Earnings card is a real Amex card issued by American Express.  So yes, you'd be "in" with Amex.  Good luck!!

it is a real AMEX. you apply thru the AMEX website.

If u wanna get in the amex door steps apply for something more revolving rather then applying for a store amex card

Try the Blue Amex or the charge card if you think your credit might not be good enough

+10000  Thats how i did it. Applied for the Green charge card just to see if i could set foot in with AMEX and did!
