I have a Fico score of 670, I am looking to apply for a credit card with high limit. What is a credit card company that is known for giving high starting limits (about $5K or more)? My fiancee has Fico score of 705, what card could he apply for that has a good chance of giving high limit?
Sorry but no one can say any company will give high limits. Wish we could but it doesn't work that way![]()
We can steer you toward the cards you maybe approved for and still that depend on a lot of factors starting with your CR's and history,
credit unions

+1
maybe CUs ?....high CLs take time building a relationship with a lender and good payment history..it does not come overnight
....patience patience patience
It all depends on your whole file AAA baddies etc. When I got back in the CC game I had a 685 score got a few denials finally getting a $300 card from Cap1. Since joining the forum in 4 years I am where I am now. Like others have said a credit union, USSA anf NFCU you have the best chance. Good Luck in your credit journey.

If either of you have the ability to obtain membership, USAA and NFCU can be very generous with initial credit limits.
AFAIK, anyone can get USAA financial products (banking, credit, brokerage, etc.). Only their insurance products have the military/legacy requirements.

+1, I am a non-military member and although I am a member it says that I'm not eligible for banking or any credit card products.
I agree with credit unions but regarding the big (non-military) lenders, I would have to say I've gotten pretty decent starting limits with Citibank on all of my cards with them.
