It's not that wealthy people don't care about cash back, it's that it's unnecessary for the store to offer an additional incentive to drive sales. If Amex is offering MR points through a rewards mall, or Chase offering UR points, etc., Louis Vuitton is paying for those points. They don't think they need to do that to drive incremental sales.

I'm surprised that wealthy people wouldn't go wild for cashback. Most wealthy people I know are incredibly cheap -- which is how they remain wealthy.
