Thanks for sharing but this is not an accurate info of the best bonuse category spend. What they have done is compile a list of CC applications they THEY get paid for. The US Bank Cash + beats a lot of cards on there but the "bloggers" don't get referral money from it so they don't tell you about it.
Thanks for sharing but the greed of most of these bloggers trumps useful info.

That Hilton HHonors Surpass card looks pretty good, or are the points not worth as much?

+1
While there is useful information, the recommendations are always tempered by financial interests. We just have to be vigilant enough to take their recommendations while being aware of the potential conflict of interest.
For instance, what is the rational for recommending the Arrival and Venture touting it as a 2% card, and not recommending the Fid Amex?

Oh, is that why none of the blogs out there have the best cards? I was always wondering how these bloggers could not know about these amazing cards like Cash + and Fidelity Amex yet call themselves experts to write blogs about credit cards?
That explains it.

Or even worse, the Rewards, which is 2% only in a handful of categories.

Right, that is the other weak point of the list, points are by no means equal. Hilton points are much devalued, so the big numbers don't mean a whole lot (for most people. Some will find value depending how they redeem the points)

The updated post does now contain the Fid Amex!
