Highest CL available for Chevron?

I've been sitting at a $2K limit on my Chevron card for about a year now. It seems like a crazy high limit for GAS - but just three tanks a month puts me over 10% UTI. I've seen others with the same limit - is this the highest they go or should I ask for more? Thanks in advance! tonsers

From what I have seen mentioned also, 2k seems to be the limit on personal accounts.

FWIW, I recently closed my grandmother's she has had for well over 50 years and her limit was 2k. After checking a bundle of old statements, it seems she also peaked there  long ago and  it has stayed at the 2k limit.
