Wait, a card from 1995 is one of your newest??
My mistake, I was going from memory. The card was opened in 1994 not 1995. Opened originally as a joint account with the wife. Later, when I lost my card and the wife gave me non stop grief, I elected not to get a replacement card. The account was converted to me as an AU at some point.
It was and still should be used primarily for household expenses. I don't look at the card statements. Wife pays the bill out of a joint checking account.
yes...without personal data points when they applied (and the date they applied), these don't tell you anything.
for example, Navy was giving $30k business cards no doc 4 months ago and now giving only $5k SL type limits and are full doc
My Chase Sapphire was initially issued with a 25K limit. Seeing that I only use it when a merchant doesn't take AmEx, it sees very little activity and I've never asked for a CLI. But the initial limit hasn't been decreased either.

You pay $95 (or is it $550, not clear) per year for a card you don't use? :scratchhead:
