Kudos to CA for the post.

I have Hilton Silver through the Amex card. I had a month left of Hilton Gold received through Fast Track to Gold. I submitted proof of Hyatt Platinum status, and they matched with Hilton Diamond.

I, too, managed to get matched Hilton Diamond Elite status from IHG Platinum, which the Chase IHG card conveniently confers. It was a very easy process and well worth the effort. I submitted the request on the 10th and got my email yesterday (12th).
