Hooters Cards gone?

Hi everyone. HOoters card owner here.  Is it trure Merrick is no longer backing them?  i see you can no longer apply.  I am a cardholder but haven't heard the news yet.

I hope not, about 25% of my credit is with Merrick, if they shut there cards down I would be ticked.

Maybe its just the agreement between hooters and merrick needs to be renegotiated

I think it's more along the lines that Hooters hasn't done all that great the past few years.  It'll likely be brought back if things improve.

I dropped them like a bad habit, between the horrible rewards gifts, high interest, and monthly fees it was a no brainer. I also cancelled the card becuase their call center is India and that's a pet peeve of mine.
