Wow, some of you have a ton of cards! And I feel overwhelmed with what I have...
5 bank cards
3 store/gas cards
Weeding? I think it's time for the machete! I could never manage 25+ cards. I have a few and I'm even thinking about cutting it down. I would like to cut my number down to nomore than 5 but Chase wont consolidate my CL's

this isn't counting the dozen cards I closed 10 years ago but wish I didn't
18 credit cards with a total credit limit of $122,250.00:
3 business cards (Amex, Chase, Citi)
2 store cards (Macy's & Dell)
13 personal from major issuers (Chase, Citi, Discover, etc...)
These were from the results of two "App-o-ramas". My limits used to be a lot higher before the credit crunch (e.g. Amex was at $24k before cut down to $2400), but I refuse to close any cards. I am responsible with my cards though and always maintain total utilization under 1%.
Btw, i keep track of all cards using Yodlee Money center.
22 active accounts (19) obtained in the last year most hitting the one year mark this coming month. Score never lower than 740 and has been as high as 805 until the AAOA crashed to 2 1/2 years! Down side to this was a letter form PNC this last month stating the accont would be closed if I did not use it. (I never use it since cl is only 3k and they would not give me a cli at 6 months) This was an account that was bought out by PNC a month after I opened the account. Whenever someone has a great offering for miles or points I get that account. Due to the number of accounts I cannot qualify for Nationwide or Penfed those are the only 2 I wanted and could not obtain. Well add NFCU to that list of want but cannot obtain.
