Generally they're considered accurate but as always is the case, you still can be denied

Chase is about as solid as it gets.  I was pre-qualified for a Chase Freedom when I had low-600 EX scores and got it with my highest limit to date. $2k.  If you're pre-qualified there, I'd say chances are better than average you'll get something.

From these forums, those 2 prequal sites are basically spot on.

Experience - DW was pre approved for Venture, Venture One and QS with specific APR's and when she spree'd a couple of days ago she was approved for Venture and QS.

Before she did her spree I checked the Chase PreQual site and it actually came up with something.  It had never had anything before.  Freedom and Slate.  She went for Freedom and was approved for 2k.  Her scores at the time were 639 EQ, 679 TU and 673 EX.

Like a previous poster said, there could be a denial, but those to are as pretty solid as it gets.

One thing I want to add though is that not being pre qualifed doesn't necessarily mean anything. I had no pre qualify offers from Chase and got instant approval for the United Explorer Plus card.

Cap One shows an image of the Visa Signature, but you won't necessarily get the Visa Signature. If your starting line is less than $5K, it will be the platinum.

Both have been solid pre-qual sites for me

I asked this same question about Cap1 last night. Smiley Very Happy

Ran the Cap1 pre-qual on the site and got Quicksilver and Venture (not the "Ones" I had been getting for months).

Jarnog, Nixon and Creditaddict said go for it.

I did.

QS approved $3k at 17.9%

Venture approved $10k at 17.9%

So t'was spot on for me. Smiley Happy

Scores were TU 646, EQ 648 and EX 648.
