How do you set up a new Citi card on an existing app account?

I have the Citi app, and I'm trying to set activate my new card through it. I succeeded in activating it, but the app is telling me to create a new username and password. It won't let me enter my current details. I don't want to create a new account--I just want to add the new card lol 

I'm probably missing something ridiculous.

On the iPhone app:  look for -> Profile & Settings -> Account Management -> Link Citi Accounts.

On a computer/browser: citi.com -> look for Resources on the right side (may have to scroll down a bit) -> Link Accounts.

edit to add- in case it glitches, you should be able to message them and ask them to link your new card (include #) to your existing account.
