I think it depends on your neighborhood. At my home it was delivered in USPS priority in a nicer box style envelope inside.
Dont forget to order a customized card! Nice thing is they let u keep both active. Keep 1 in the safe just in case!

Hmmm. I didn't know you could get customization beyond choosing the color (I selected blue). I suppose I'll have to see how that works once I activate it.
I really like the blue so I just left it alone.
Just got ours, upgraded from Discover Cashback Bonus.

Mine came first-class mail with no need to sign for it but maybe your limit blows mine away. I got a box similar to the one already posted but in copper to match my card choice. I was suitably impressed by it. LOL
The first card/welcome kit comes in a snazzy folio type box....
Additional cards or replacements come in your typical envelope
Discovers mailing address is almost as bad as one of the local banks that got merged a few times around here... they never used their name on the envelope.. but it was always the same bank...
In fact, I just got a plain enveloped discover today... Wanted a different design.. =)
You knew who it was from just by the font and the address... even though there was no visible logo..

My original card was lost in the mail.
The replacement for the lost card was in a plain white envelope inside a Fedex envelope.
The original card showed up weeks later in the brown packaging with a folder to match.
I just got the gold card and that was in a plain white envelope.

Oh! That is good to know so I am not disappointed if I ever decide to change my design.
Thanks!
