At one point, I was getting them every 30-31 days (I think it was 31 days).
Last month Discover increased my CLI three consecutive times for a total of $25,000. I read your post and wandered over to Discover and hit the love button. They gave me an additional $5,000. So now I am at $30,000! My FICO score is between 828-848!

I just got a $2,000 CLI about a month ago and tried again after seeing this post but was turned down. Does it make you look desperate to them if you attempt too many CLIs?
it sounds like if you opened your card with an established credit history, they'll give you a cli every month. but if you opened the card with a new credit history, then they'll string you along for months and months with no cli.

I believe it does, somewhat. Someone talked to a DISCOVER CSR about it, and the CSR confirmed that the cardholder hit the luv button so many times, it was on their screen.
Does it paint an opinion on your profile, it might. They track 'em, so they could use that info for some reason.
