I just got the CSP and now I want the CFU with the 3% for the first year. I'm currently at 4/24 after the CSP, but I no longer have a preapproval for the CFU.
I don't know how long it lasts, but I had to go to my local Chase branch twice this week. I spoke with two different bankers and also brought up the question of how long the 3% CFU offer will last. Both would not commit to an ending date, but did say that since the offer just started, they expect it to be around for "at least a couple of months". I told them that I was interested in adding it but didn't want to do it so soon after apping CSP. They encouraged me to apply for it in "2 or 3 months" and said they were "confident the offer will still be there when you're ready to apply again".
Highly probable fact: Most people who work in Chase credit card department do not know the answer either.
Why not just get CFU, as you know CSP has always had 50K offer since it came out almost 10 years ago but CFU's offer is rare and "doesn't last long".
