Hi all. I've searched but can't find anything solid. How long did your AMEX take to start reporting? I was approved for Delta Gold & PRG last month. First statement closing date 1/29 with payment due 2/23 (pd today). Just trying to get an idea on when amex begins reporting. I can see my accounts and it is not on there yet (MF subscription, EX app subscription, and CK just to view accounts).
Likely another month. So month number 2.

Another bonus of the delay is that if you have high utilization of the card to meet the spend for a signup bonus, it won't ding that part of your credit scores, provided you've paid down the balance before the next statement that does report. Other than making a massive impact on overall utilization (say you're using $4500 of a $5000 credit line on your only credit card and you get approved for a $15000 card with $0 balance, bringing you from 90% overall utilization to 22.5% overall utilization), I can't think of any scenarios where you would want a new credit card to report sooner.
Same happened for me after 2nd statement cut but use caution OP as according to other threads there are new apps now reporting after 1st statement which to me were record breaking DP's as opposed to everything we've been reading here for years. @K-in-Boston could this be something new AMEX is doing or possibly it glitched for them? I'll be the first to admit I was taken off guard when they posted "1st statement cut posted" I almost fell out of my chair................
