How long does it take for Caesars tier credit to reflect spending on its Visa?

I just received my Caesars Visa from comenity bank, the entire process to get here was a joke for the little amount of credit they gave me $7500.

I have a planned trip first week of August and can spend 15-20k on the card in the next week. Curious how long does it take for Caesars Tier level to move up reflecting on what I spent? Trying to move up to Diamond as quickly as possible to enjoy waived resorts fee.

cool thanks!

Now as soon as the stupid website works I can setup my bank so I can pay off each transaction to open up my limit so I can charge again.

You can always push the payment from your bank account, this is probably better since the card is new.

Re: How long does it take for Caesars tier credit to reflect spending on its Visa?

So it's been several days and my tier credit has been unchanged. Smiley Sad

and WOW who the hell operates this card call center. Their customer service  call center sounds like they are at a ball game, the person on the line sounds like a robot or has had a joint too many and have no clue whats so ever, she can barely hear what I'm saying and make me yell out everything I say.

Was calling to make a payment so I can charge a large order on it, I put several thousand in this past week and was told I got zero balance. I'm like no, you better look again. She puts me on a brief hold and came back and said oh you got XXX balance. I said ok great, I'd like to zero it out so I can use the card for a large purchase. She puts me on hold again and came back only to say oh it hasn't posted yet so I can't process your payment. I do this all the time on my other cards. I pay off the existing plus pending charges with no issue.

Anyways, so I said then I'd like to request for a CLI, she asked me a few very irrelavent questions then said ok you'll get something in the mail 7-10 business days. I'm like **bleep**?

At this point, I've already been on the phone with her for nearly 45 minutes and nothing acheived. I ended it by asking when should we expect your online portal to be up and running again. SHe told me 24-48 hours, I laughed and said that's why you've been saying for the past week. I see some of you may have seen this issue much longer.

You might not have enough time for another strategy for Caesars Reward Diamond status.  You can get the Wyndham Business Earner's card and status match Wyndham Diamond to Caesars Diamond.  My status match took a little over a month to reflect.

Neither do I, but the status match is well worth it.  Especially for the celebration dinner and the transfer of points.  I currently have 50k Caesars Rewards Points and I haven't played 1 slot or spent $1 at any property yet.

I haven't been in a casino since COVID started, so they may have changed things, but...   You do not get tier credits from your visa spending, so it won't get you any closer to diamond status.  All you get is rewards credits which are different (I'm assuming you're familiar with them).

EDIT-  Oops, I didn't know they were running a signup promo right now.  I just went to the site to run some numbers and I see they have a nice TIER credit signup bonus for your spend.  Definitely I wouldn't expect this signup bonus to post until the first statement after you meet the spend requirement for the bonus.  So yeah, it's pointless to keep checking your tier balance each day.

I believe my regular rewards credits don't post until the statement cuts but I never notice as the card isn't worth using at all (to me).  As I recall it was never worth using even when on-property as I'd get better cash back with other cards.  And my rooms were always on the house so I didn't have much to spend the credits on.  Just meals, and my regular casino play covered that with ease.  I do not like this card.

Re: How long does it take for Caesars tier credit to reflect spending on its Visa?

I wish I knew that I couldn't earn anything higher than platinum through the Visa. Free parking is nice but where the value is is when you hit diamond for no resort credit.

With that said, I was at Caesars last week, at the reward desk they pitched to me the Visa told them I just applied already but don't have my card yet. She said when I receive the card, all I need to do is bring in a receipt that I charged the card with and they can update my status to platinum immediately.
