Yes I waited around the 10-11 month mark to apply for there cash rewards card after having there secured card. So I say about a year also

Who really knows with CapOne. My wife and I both had a secured card with them. She got two CLI within 6 months and 2 days, their money not hers. One week after the 6th month she applied for the rewards card and was instanly approved. Me on the other hand got zip from them. I had the better credit and higher income.

That's odd I didn't think they have CLI on the secured..

I started out with my secured card last October. I recieved a CLI in April as well as I applied for their cash reqards and was approved. I think it just depends.

if you have a clean file you can even get an Amex issued card after 6 months...
