How many Amex cards can you have ??

Spread your Amex apps at least 2-3 months if you don't wanna get denied right away especially if you just got a new one. That's what I have found gives me the results I want.

Bot my cards 2 months old. I'm waiting until month 6   April to go for everyday.  Will see what happens then.

Is the charge card harder to get ?

I know someone that has 4 cards two personal and two biz. but then again if your getting added as an AU i guess you can have as many as you want...

No. It's not harder to get. Just requires true discipline. Since no choice but to pay in full.

I think the charge cards are easier to get. This thread is old but I currently have:

2 - Amex plum cards (biz)
2- Amex gold cards (biz)
1- true earnings (biz)
1- personal plat card
1- personal blue credit card

At the moment I have 5 cards: 3 charge ( 2 personal, 1 business) and 2 revolvers (1 of each). Whenever I feel like getting a new card from AMEX I just cancel an old one that I don't use. In the past 2 years that was 4 cards I think? I've seen some people say (on other forums) that you should remove the cards from your AMEX account and I did that for my first 2 canceled cards. Then I decided to keep them as it lets me have have easy access to my old statements. Amex doesn't mind and clearly doesn't consider them against your limit when applying for new cards. In hindsight I should of kept the other 2 on the account as well. I then could have pretend to have 9 AMEX cards all at once .

Ahh so you have 7 in total. Now I don't feel as though I have too many.
