1 - AKC Visa. 3% CB on vets & pet stores/supplies, and since that's a big chunk of my spend *and* I haven't seen another card with a pet/vet cat, it gets a fair amount of use.
Only one, my Eddie Bauer store card.
When Kay Jewelers twisted my arm to get their card, I did not get the in-store instant approval for their Comenity card, for whatever reason at the time. I was approved for another card Kay has through Genesis Financial Services. It has zero benefits except that it had a decent SL, has grown well, and is now my largest CL and older than my average account, so I keep it around.
Had the Wayfair Card before they went with Citi. They didn't offer a conversion, so it was closed.
Been there, done that 10 years ago.
First wave way back when was starting out building card accounts. Can't count the number but was on the order of 50 all told.
Currently in a rebuild period i have 3 Comenity Cards. 1 Mastercard and 2 Store Cards. The latter of which receives frequent CLI's and is a boost for reestablishing a profile again.
3--Sportsman's Guide Visa--Good Sam Visa Sig--Caesar's Rewards (formally Total Rewards) Visa. Used to have Coldwater Creek Mastercard but it was closed by the grantor when the company went out of business (that was also my highest CL of the 4 majors). Also had Wayfair but it was closed by grantor for non-use (I had the card 2.5 years and never spent a nickel on it).
I have 1 Ikea Visa. I had the wayfair they shut it down
