1 low CL local store card - some clothes and cosmetics, and it is old

1 gas MC for gas back money

1 airmiles card

1 Amex for travelling

1 CU card low APR no rewards (in case I need to carry a balance)

AU on wife's Barnes and Noble card (for books)

And that is all I really want.

1)    Capital One – Had 3 Visa’s each with $500CL within last 3 weeks consolidated to just 1 with $1500 limit of course keeping my oldest (2003). (Zero Balance)

2)    Capital One Master Card (2006) – Could not consolidate with Visa’s $500CL (Zero Balance)

3)    Orchard Bank (2005) - $500CL (Zero Balance)

4)    House Hold Bank (2006) - $500CL

Cards in my wallet:

Amex Blue - My main card that I use daily for everything

Citi Diamond Preferred - for use at places that don't take Amex (like Sam's), or for backup in case Amex decides to F/R me one day.

Amex Gold - Brand new, soon to replace Blue as my main card to reduce util

Debit - For ATM withdrawals and emergencies


Sock drawer:

Crap One Platinum - insultingly low limit and my only card with an AF. Probably going to let this one go before the AF hits again.

Chase KISS Platinum Visa - novelty card only because I'm a fan, not for actual use

Radio Shack - don't need it, just opened it on the outside chance they might give me my 12 year history back. They didn't.

too many, but mucked up credit in the past so need some to rebuild.  All these have 0 balances.

1/07- 1st premier- 250 CL- firing them in early 09

2/07- orchard- 300 CL*

2/07- orchard- 300 CL*

8/07- 1st premier- 350 CL- firing them in either 8/08 or 8/09

4/08- cap 1- 300 CL- hoping they’ll grow into a 4 digit CL

4/08- BA 99/500- 500 CL- hoping it grows into a 4 digit CL

5/08- target red- 200 CL- hoping it grows into a 4 digit CL visa 1 day

* consolidating these into 1 CC; plan to dump in 3/09 or as soon as a 'prime' cc approves me

Ultimate goal is to dump my subprimes (first premiers/orchards- 4 ccs total) and then possibly add another ‘prime’ cc like Citibank.

I just started looking at the forums here within the past month. Because of what I learned, I got 2 new cards. I'm now up to 3 total:

USBank Platinum Rewards Visa $11250 CL since 06/2004
Chase Freedom Platinum Visa $2000 CL since 05/2008
BoA MC with WorldPoints $2000 CL since 05/2008

I'm now considering getting a gas card (BP?) but I kind of feel uncomfortable getting another hard inq. I can't decide if the credit mix is worth it...
