How my Amex Green CC help me to improve my credit score?

Hi all,

My credit history is short, 15 months.
I have 1 HSBC CC with $3250 CL and 1 Macys card with $300 CL both opened 8 months ago.
I had before 1 HSBC secured CC what I closed after I get my current CC from HSBC.

I applied for an Amex Green CC.
Now that I read in the forum, Amex Charging cards has no CL.
If there is no CL on the card than how can I use less than %10 of the CL?
How can I ask for CLI?
How will I improve my credit score?

I am confused.

Please give me some advise,

Hi, krisztian, welcome to the forums!

It will be a healthy credit line reporting for you. There is also the future gimmick that if you ever want to add a second AmEx card, wait till next January, and it will be dated January (month of app) 2008, not 2009 (year of first Amex card.) That means that you would not only not have a new account ding, but it would actually display as being older than the green card. Weird, but fun and true.
