How solid is Citibank pre selected offers?

Anyone have experience with this?  How solid is this offer from Citibank

Pre selected is worthless. If it was pre approved then you stand more like an 80% chance of being approved. Unless you are really interested in this card I would not take a pre selected anything.

@technut74- the previous pre-qualified tool (predecessor to this one) was a tad bit more accurate (although not 100% guaranteed). Keep in mind, it clearly states "pre-selected to apply" - not pre-approved. So, I would say that if your profile is fairly strong, decent scores, not a whole lot of apps/inqs in the past 6-12 months, then it's possible you could be approved. The only way to know for sure is once you submit the application.
