That's 10$/month. Most of these are Kasasa cash back schemes. There are kasasa credit unions that give 12$/month such as School Systems FCU, ASE Credit Union. There is a credit union in Utah (can't remember its name) that gives 20$/month cash back on debit card purchases.
Affinity doesn't require "qualification" in the form of 10 or 12 debit card transactions per month in order to get the 1% cash back. It's different than the Kasasa branded accounts. Of course, none of this matters if the citi payments don't trigger the 1% cash back.
I'm reporting back to say that it worked!
In November, I paid $1,000 combined to my Citi DC and Citi CC cards using my Affinity Cash Back Debit Card. The Affinity Cash Back Debit Card pays 1% cash back on up to $1,000 of purchases per month. On 01Dec, I received a $10 deposit to my Affinity Cash Back checking account. Affinity states that they report the cash back earned on 1099 form, so the net reward will be lower.

Interesting... anyone out there willing to try this with their Coinbase debit card (up to 4% back)?
