Hubby is eligible for a Cap1 CLI but we didn't accept.

I checked this morning to see if he was eligible because yesterday was his 6th due date post credit steps and Sunday is his 6th statement cuts. He was offered $150 on his QS1 and $250 on his QS. If we wait a little bit they will usually offer more right? I'm kind of antsy because I'd like to combine the cards (to start reducing the number he has) as soon as his BT goes through but I don't want to do it before the CLI hits.

Well from what I have read it's kinda a split , some have had luck not accepting and asking again in a week or two , others have not been lucky and didn't accept and didn't get anything when they tried again. Guess it is just a risk you will take ,.if that CLI is not worth it then wait it out a bit . Good luck !

I read somewhwre that if you dont request early cli and just wait for steps you usually get higher cli than going for early cli then steps. then again it really depends on usage. If he is not using the card enough i doubt the next offer will be much different

Think it just depends on who you talk to and if they got some the night before or not.  My dealings with them have been up and down.  Good luck whatever your decision, hope you get what you ask for.
